Good question! The answer: real life and the pure scope of the rewrite.

For one, allergies are kicking my butt. In addition, real-life has been creeping up on me and keeping me busy. So progress has been slower than I want it to be. I'm still getting some time each day in, just not as much as I want to.

In addition, changing the game flow requires a pretty complete re-architecture of the game. At this point, battles and the new guild screen are done. Girl talk events are integrated and work fine. Now it's off to pull the normal quests back in and make a ui for them.

Once that is all done, it's time to test and finetune. Once the new system is in place, adding more content will be much easier.
